Role: Project manager, lead back end developer, UX design

    Date: Fall 2019 - present

I worked with the Georgia School District and the creators of the Foundations For Literacy curriculum to create this cross-platform curriculum delivery system. The curriculum was created for deaf and hard of hearing students. I was heavily involved in the project from initial client discussions and wireframing to its release. I led a team of 20 developers and artists to create the app, which was developed using React Native and NodeJS, and redesign portions of the curriculum including all of the art. I designed the functionality and architecture of the app and wrote much of the code for the server, database, and javascript games. We are currently preparing for the app's release and use in classrooms across the United States.
